Koi Ramen

An appetite-first social design system for a ramen spot, bold, warm, and built to make the food the hero on every single post.

the brief

Make people hungry

Food brands live and die on craving. Koi needed a social look that put the bowl front and center and made people feel the steam coming off the screen.

It also needed to be repeatable. A busy kitchen does not have time to design every post, so the system had to make a great-looking feed fast.

what we built

The deliverables

  • Social design system

A bold, food-forward visual language built to frame and elevate the dishes.

  • Feature post templates

Layouts for specials, new items, and hours that keep the feed cohesive.

  • Photography direction

Guidance on how to shoot and frame bowls so the food always leads.

  • Palette & type

A warm, high-contrast palette that reads as flavor and energy.

the approach

Let the bowl lead

Everything in the system is built to get out of the food’s way. Type and color frame the dish; they never compete with it.

The templates make consistency effortless, so even a quick midweek post still looks like it belongs to the brand.

the result

The outcome

A feed that makes the food the hero and turns a casual scroll into a craving.
